History of The Central Florida Kennel Club, Inc.

The Central Florida Kennel Club held its First Dog Show, Sunday and Monday, January 11-12, 1942 at the City Auditorium in Orlando, Florida. There were a total of 183 dogs of 28 different breeds entered. The Judges were Mr. S. H.Beddow of Birmingham, Alabama and Mr Bruce Webb of Asheville School, North Carolina. Best In Show was Ch. Holmeric of Brookville, Spaniels-Cocker (American Type), owned by Mrs E. D Stringfellow and bred by Mrs H. Cushing.
